How to hear Gods voice?
We are to discern & know the voice of God.
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. (John 10:4)
We should know Gods voice.
There are a few ways to hear Gods voice & a few ways to test if its really the Lords voice.
#1 Tune in to the right station Are you really hearing from God? You can be hearing...
... the voice of this world (Romans 12:2)
...the voice of the flesh (Galatians 5)
...the voice of the devil (Matthew 4) or the true voice of God :)
Learn to discern between them.
#2 Renew your mind We have to decide to take every thought into captivity that exalts itself above the wisdom and knowledge of Him.
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, (2 Cor. 10:5)
#3 Heed & Obey to His voice 28 But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!" (Luke 11:28)
