Jesus was anointed.
Christ means 'anointed one' & Jesus needed to be anointed with the assignment He had on earth.
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38)
In the Old Testament, they were anointed to be set apart.
It means to smear or to rub.
David was anointed as king (1 Samuel 16:13)
Jehu was anointed as king (1 Kings 19:16)
Elisha was anointed as prophet (1 Kings 19:16)
Aaron was anointed as priest (Exodus 28:41)
Items were anointed to be set apart (Exodus 29:36)
9 “And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it; and you shall hallow it and all its utensils, and it shall be holy. 10 You shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar. The altar shall be most holy. 11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it. (Exodus 40:9-11)

It is holy, and it shall be holy to you. 33 Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on an outsider, shall be cut off from his people.’ ” (Exodus 30:22-33)
Consecrate: to consecrate, sanctify, prepare, dedicate, be hallowed, be holy, be sanctified, be separate

Healing

Pomegranate

Spikenard

2. Take the anointing oil in your hands and pray to our Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Below is a prayer that you may pray over the oil. Remember that Jesus is the deliverer, healer, restorer, and the one that gives us breakthroughs through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you for your love, thank you for your grace, thank you for your mercy, thank you for your breakthroughs, thank you for your power, thank you for your deliverance, thank you for the healing, thank you for the restoration, thank you for the revival, thank you for your miracles, signs and wonders, and thank you for intervening in whatever situation we are dealing with. We believe with You, Jesus, All THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Thank you for the full and finished work at the cross at Calvary. Thank you Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior from Nazareth who is my deliverer, my healer and my restorer. Thank you Jesus for being the sacrifice so we may be reconciled back to our Heavenly Father. And because of the price that You, Jesus have paid for us, we are now able to enjoy the blessings, favor, goodness, mercy and grace in our lives.
We are trusting You, Holy Spirit, that You will anoint this oil that is in my hands with your power, with your fire, and with your Spirit resting on it to break yokes, for revival, to heal the sick, to drive out demons, and for breakthroughs in the lives of those who will come in contact with this anointing oil that is consecrated, set apart for you Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.
