We tend to ask ourselves is this from God?
How do we know if this idea is from God?
How do we know if this opportunity or relationship is from God?
We'll share a few things that will know if it's from God or NOT.
Praying for an increase of discernment to know if it's from the Lord.
#1 Does it agree & align with scripture?
The best way to know how God speaks is through God's word.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105)
God's will is found in God's word.
If you want to know if something is truly from God, we MUST know His word.
Make sure you get a revelation from scriptures by opening up your bible & letting God speak to you.
#2 Does it give you peace?
6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
No matter what you're going through, does it give you peace when you take that first step?
The spirit of fear can attack... but if you're walking by faith, let God's peace fall fresh onto your mind & life.
#3 Does it allow you to depend on God?
If it doesn’t put God first, it’s the first thing that needs to go.
If it's from God it won’t draw you away from God.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
The flesh will force, but the Holy Spirit will flow.
Also a few things we want to add...
Pray, get in God's word and FAST as the Lord is leading you.
You'll experience so much clarity as you submit yourself to God.
