The anointing allows us to operate in our God given assignment.
Same anointing, but we have different assignments as individuals in the body of Christ.
27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)
To really operate in ministry you need to flow from the anointing that you receive from Him!
Jesus was anointed.
1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
Now how do we continue to operate in the anointing from God?
33 The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom,
And before honor is humility. (Proverbs 16:33)
3 things needed to operate in the anointing from God.
#1 Humility
And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (Matthew 23:12)
As we be exalted, the Lord be glorified.
Let your promotion come from God.
Promotion in the kingdom only comes from God.
& one of the pre requisites to that is humility.
#2 Alignment
Our alignment is more important than the assignment.
The bible says obedience is greater than a sacrifice.
Delayed obedience is STILL disobedience.
We must obey the Lord in everything as He continues to reveal.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7)
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. (John 8:31)
#3 Fear Of The Lord
When you fear the Lord, there is respect, honor & reverence towards God & His ways.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. (Proverbs 8:13)
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28)
Praying you continuously seek His face on daily.
There is a constant pressing into the Lord in order to receive the revelations from above.
