The anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit.
It is the mandate & assignment from heaven on our specific life.
God's divine power working through us.
27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)
The anointing teaches us, is leads us to truth & we must abide Him as it abides in us.

Jesus was anointed.

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38)
David was anointed.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah. (1 Samuel 16:13)
How do I access the anointing?
Surrender.
Obedience to God's word.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)
How to maintain the anointing & continue to stir it up?
Stop gossiping, stop practicing that secret sin willfully, & forgive others.
These are hindrances from fully operating under God's power.
How do we know we have the anointing?
The Holy Spirit.
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38)
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11)
His Spirit is a mark that we have the anointing.
Now it's time to activate the power of the Holy Spirit in us & through us.
