Why It's Important To Know Who I Am In Christ - Part 1/5

Knowing who we are in Christ is very important with living a victorious lifestyle with the Lord.

Jesus came so that we can have life & live that life abundantly
The enemy attacks our identity in Christ using lies, deceit & trickery…

While the world tells us to fake it until we make it… in Christ we do not need to fake it.

Here are a few reasons why it's important to know who we are in Christ...

#1 Live a life of victory & abundance

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have *it* more abundantly. (John 10:10)
We don't fight FOR victory... but FROM a place of victory.
It is finished.

The Lord has the play to fight our battles when the enemy attacks.
We have victory in Him.

#2 Live a life full of freedom, peace, joy, love & security in knowing the truth.

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Jesus is the TRUTH!
Knowing Him & His Word shall MAKE us free.

There is so much freedom living a life for Jesus.

#3 Learn how to count it all joy & lack nothing

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Even during tribulations we are taught to count it all joy.

Our trials often teach us how to trust God & test to see if we really do trust God.
Know that in Christ, you lack NOTHING!

Another example of the enemy attacking our identity was from the beginning in the garden.
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4-5)
The enemy made a bold statement which was a lie towards Eve… making it seem like God didn’t give us ‘enough’.
This may allow us to question our identity that we don’t know enough because our eyes are ‘closed’.
A very sneaky tactic in how the enemy deceives through language.
We recommend you read Ephesians 1:3-12... so much glory & security in being a child of God.
To know who I am & Who's I am is living a powerful lifestyle for the kingdom of God.
