If you don’t check your heart, it will hinder your relationship with the Lord.
We must love the Lord God with all our heart.
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ (Matthew 22:37)

#1 Troubled Heart
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:1-6)
Troubled: to agitate, trouble (a thing, by the movement of its parts to and fro)

C. to stir up
D. to trouble
I. to strike one's spirit with fear and dread
E. to render anxious or distressed
F. to perplex the mind of one by suggesting scruples or doubts
#2 - Deceitful & Desperately Wicked Heart
deceitful, sly, insidious
desperately wicked: to be weak, sick, frail, incurable
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; (Jeremiah 17:9)
#3 - Anxious Heart
Anxiety is also heaviness.

25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. (Proverbs 12:25)
Don’t connect with someone with an anxious heart, they need a God word they may be beating themselves up.
#4 - Envious Heart
envy: jealous, excite to jealous anger, envious, zealous
17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day; (Proverbs 23:17)
30 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones. (Proverbs 14:30)
#5 - Fearful Heart
4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” (Isaiah 35:4)
Let the word of God heal your heart, He never leaves you nor forsakes you.
Don’t get overwhelmed take time to be in silence with the Lord in the secret place.
