Egypt - Toxic Provision
Wilderness - God’s Provision
Promise Land - Garden Provision
Egypt wasn’t the issue… it was the season they were in Egypt.
Egypt delivered them from a famine back in Joseph’s day.
But became bondage to them in Moses day.
They were under ‘provision’ but it was in exchange to be in slavery to Pharaoh.
Wilderness is a season of delivering you from you.
We must go through a wilderness season, it’s a transition FROM Egypt into Promise.
The question is… how long will we stay in wilderness?
God provided for them for 40 years.
2 And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. 3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. 4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. (Deuteronomy 8:2-4)
Manna fell from heaven during wilderness. Only God can do this.
But when you want to enter into promise… it’s time to learn how to eat from the fruit of that land.
We call it garden blueprints & garden strategies.
11 And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and parched grain, on the very same day. 12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year. (Joshua 5:11-12)
The moment they ate the produce of the land, manna ceased.
Our God knows when to allow manna to cease when we become mature enough to grow our own fruit.
In order for us to GET to the garden, we must be willing to GET OUT of the place that hinders us from SEEING the garden.
