How can we minister to people who lost a loved one? This can be a tough situation to minister in, which is why I want to share a couple of verses you can share with someone who lost a loved one.
Verses To Share with Someone Who Lost A Loved One:
1. Psalm 34:18
"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
A contrite spirit means a crushed spirit. This verse lets them know that God is near to them during their struggles. It also opens an opportunity to pray for them.
2. Revelation 21:4
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
This is the good news of what it's going to be like in Heaven if that person who passed is now with the Lord. There will be no more death, sorrow, crying, pain, or tears. That's a beautiful promise from the Lord.
God's word is a light to our path and a lamp to our feet. Let's stand on God's word and share it to see more souls in the Kingdom of God.
