His spirit is named Holy Spirit.
Holy means pure, morally blameless, consecrated, set apart, sacred, belonging to God.
To live a life full of holiness brings purity.
& there is power in purity.
The Lord doesn't expect us to be holy before stepping into a worship service, prayer meeting or church building.
We can come to the house of the Lord to be renewed, transformed, healed, delivered & set free.
It's when Christ lives in me, I have the power to overcome this world.
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; ( 1 Peter 1:13)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (1 Peter 1:13)
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, (Hebrews 6:19)
1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)
Above all, we can see obedience allows us to be cleansed.
When we can obey the voice of God & trust in Christ with His word... we'll continue on this path & process to be set free.
