Sometimes it's hard to trust God.
But we're called to Trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
The testing of our faith will build our trust in the Lord and strengthen our relationship with Him. We need to trust Jesus more than the chair we sit in.
Here are 3 reasons why it can be hard to trust God:
1. God wants to build our trust
No matter what we're going through we can trust that God is working it out for our good. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
2. God wants to build our faith
Hearing God's Word builds our faith. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). It takes faith to move how God calls us to move even when it doesn't make sense.
3. God wants to align our heart
When we seek Jesus with all our heart we will be aligned with God in the Spirit. "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).
