How To Minister To Your Family

Coming to Christ has been a journey. We never know how God is going to use us.

There's a question on how God can use anyone to influence you to come to the kingdom.

We may not always be assigned to our family... but never underestimate what the Lord can do!

A poem that birthed the Simply Uncaged family...has brought a lot of us together to understand what the bible actually means.

Again... God can use anyone and ANYTHING!

"It's time to let go

It's time for a change

Not necessarily in atmosphere, but definitely up near the ear

The most valuable part of the body

Not the heart, for it keeps the flesh alive

It's the mind. Simply let it be uncaged from past experiences, labels, and thoughts. Damaging spirit of fear and doubts.

Those keep you caged.

Are you ready to soar like an eagle?

Then know the truth...

As a man think it in his heart.

So is he"

This poem was a remembrance of the verse Romans 12:2

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2)

Once a seed is planted, in order for the seed to grow,  the soil will go through advancement in other places and areas of our lives.

Sometimes all it takes is to say "yes" and sometimes it takes only a single person to be used to tell you that you have a gift to grow God's kingdom.

It's God's appointed time.

The right words can set people free.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

You don't need to shove Jesus down people's throats, sometimes all it takes is a simple worship song and letting the Holy Spirit to minister to you wherever you may be.

The right place in the right season...

We must continue to do good & have faith as a mustard seed.

Do not be like the fool that builds off of sand castles. Be like the wise person that builds a solid foundation on the rock.

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand...” (Matthew 7:24-26)

As long as your intention is to glorify God. Let Him use you!

But also understand the process to being spiritually developed & mature.

You might be the only bible that someone is reading–your life.

Collaboration in the kingdom is key.

It is God ordained. He ordains it because of your yes.

God sees the heart.

The Lord can use your sibling as a vessel to minister to you. Because Christ lives in them, they will see how you live your life and will hunger and thirst for the same meekness and joy that you carry.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

Right season, soil, seed.

How to minister to your family?

3 KEY P's:

Process

Prepare

Promise

1. Process:

We need to go through our own process when we first receive Jesus.

-Know who Jesus Christ is in you.

-Study and understand who the Holy Spirit is.

-Get rooted in Him & know your identity in Christ.

2. Prepare:

God positions you to be prepared for where He wants to place you.

Preparation is your modern day training ground.

It takes time to grow physical muscle... just like it will take time to grow spiritual muscle.

It may not happen in a day, but it will continue to grow over time as you exercise your spiritual muscles.

3. Promise:

When the promises of God start to activate in your life, learn to trust Him through it.

When the Israelites made it to the promise land, it was still warfare to take territory and dominion.

Trust God's promises through it all.

You may not be assigned to your family members to fully convict them, but you are assigned to pray for them. Trust that the Holy Spirit will convict the hearts.

Discipleship is getting Egypt out of you, that is why we go through a process and preparation.

Wilderness is what delivers the Egypt out of us to launch us into promise land.

It is a season to plant, prepare, and to water seeds.
